Zara and Dino : The Big Event at Finca Al Limón, Cartama

Usually when I get booked for an event at some point I get to meet my clients either in person or by Skype before the big day. That wasn´t the case with Zara and Dino as everything was done by email in the months leading up to the wedding so I was really looking forward to meeting them finally. As I turned off the road and was making my way to the venue I saw two guys legging it towards me being chased by a dog. I   couldn´t stop laughing and then when I met Zara a few minutes later and it turned out one of those guys was Dino(!), I instantly knew that this was going to be a brilliant day. And it was. 

Zara and Dino are really a cool and funky couple and this was reflected in the venue they chose and the decoration we designed. The venue, Finca Al Limón in Cartama, is off the beaten track and has a true rustic charm. Zara and Dino used the archway already set in the grounds for their ceremony which we decorated with gerberas and gyp in little hanging vases and draped pearl garlands around the structure. The decoration was vintage in style and this looked awesome alongside Zara´s dress and Dino´s funky suit. Zara had the prettiest headpiece I have ever seen and she looked stunning. I´m so disappointed that I didn´t get any photos of them as they really looked amazing!

After the ceremony family and friends were treated to drinks in the bar alongside the pool while the band played some tunes. The reception meal was held among lemon trees on a terrace alongside the main house which we decorated with vintage lanterns, hanging heart tea lights and lots of fluffy pompoms. 


Big thanks to all involved - Mar from Finca Al Limón, beautiful cake from Sweet Things by Fi (wish I´d got a photo of her gorgeous creation!) and Liz from Ceremoniesinspain.com. It was a great day. 
A few days after their wedding I received this lovely email from Zara and Dino. What more can I say but ´I love my job!´ x

Can we just say a HUGE thank you for making our day extra special. The whole day went beyond our expectations and you played a big part in it. Was lovely to meet you.
