Bringing the indoors, outdoors.

I´m still loving the vintage look that some of my brides are going for this year whether it´s ´in´ or not. A couple of my brides are opting for a more ´glam´ vintage look whereas others are going more rustic and boho in style. One of the fun elements of vintage is that the furniture is awesome and you can get away with using it in your decoration instead of standard banquet chairs and trestle tables. This style gives you the freedom to mix things up and not be uniform or regimented. You have to be slightly careful though as you don´t want your wedding to look like a car boot sale so keeping the colour palette similar throughout (for example) will help tie all the elements together.

Here´s some examples of what I mean:

Use a fabulous old dressing table and create an area for favors, the guestbook or seating plan. Create a cool dessert/candy bar table and use tons of vintage props - old fashioned scales for example. Push the boat out even more and create a chill out area with Chesterfield sofa and Wingback chairs.

Hope this inspires you!
