Selina and Mark: The big event at Vincci Estrella del Mar

My lovely clients, Irish couple Selina and Mark, tied the knot at the popular Encarnación Church in Marbella last year before heading off to the Vincci Estrella del Mar in Elviria to celebrate with family and friends in style. Selina was such a pleasure to work with and we quickly established a theme for her wedding - mint and hearts - which we carried throughout the decoration on their day.
Rather than have a traditional top table, Selina and Mark chose to have their family table, including their gorgeous little boy, in the centre of the reception surrounded by their guests and, although they were in the grounds of a large hotel, the whole thing felt very intimate. We used hundreds of fairy lights in the trees and surrounding foliage as well as hanging heart tealight candles scattered about to create the dreamy, romantic ambiance that Selina wanted. The small people weren´t left out either. All the kiddies were treated to activity packs which kept them occupied while the older guests enjoyed themselves late into the night.

Many thanks to everyone involved including Kris McGuirk for the fab photos and to wedding planner extraordinaire Lisa Franco for not only a seamless wedding but for keeping me supplied with tons of coffee after me being up literally all night the night before Selina´s wedding with my tonsilitis ridden daughter. Thank God for her  - and antibiotics!
