Top 3 decor crushes

There are so many lovely ways to make your wedding special and remembered for years to come which,   let´s face it, is what every couple wants for their big day. I am rather quirky in my taste and although I love glamour and prettiness as much as the next girl, I love to mix things up a bit. I spend a lot of time researching for my clients on the internet, in magazines and generally in my every day surroundings and I would like to share with you my current top 3 decor crushes.

Quirky and fun placecards

How cute are these?! Placecards don´t have to be dull. They can be as fun as you want to make them. These could double up as favors too and I would be chuffed if I received one of them at a wedding. Personally (depending on the shape of the animal) I would pop a magnet on it and use it at home.

Ok, so we are not talking about a handful of weeds here but this kind of messy, explosion of flowers and succulents really floats my boats. Succulents (think cactus, aloe vera etc) are rather chunky and have a wax like quality which contrasts really well with more delicate flowers like roses. Add some pink veronicas (the long pink flowers) and you have a real creation in your hands which I love. This look would work well for a boho style or rustic wedding especially if you are getting married in the woods or somewhere outdoors. You could give guests mini succulent plants as favors too.

There are so many different varieties of these guys popping up all over wedding blogs and magazines right now. Some have flags, messages, ribbons but all have the same thing in common. They look terrific! Imagine serving your signature cocktail to your guests after the ceremony with these glittery stars in them. They add a certain glamour and quirk without being over the top. Love, love, love them!
